Linda..... Once in awhile when I run into a hiker on the Florida Trail they have always been really friendly. I actually met 2 hikers in the middle of the swamp in Rice Creek on the boardwalk. They saw me with my bike up on the back wheel walking it across the boardwalk. They were really friendly and actually climbed over the side a bit so that I could get by with my bike

Yep.... I rode today... Went to the trail earlier than the usual time and met some friends.. Got about 15 mines in by the time my other friend got there. So we set out and caught back up to the first 2 friends... We were all riding together when Mariana's left pedal came all the way off of her bike.. it actually fell off while she was coasting down a small hill. And naturally her bike was the only bike that you could not put the pedal back with an allen wrench.... We were riding in a neighborhood at the end of the paved section of trail (just to get some more miles in) so there were houses around. Dana rode off to find a wrench while we took a pedal off of another bike threaded it back on her bike using an allen wrench (to clean the threads a bit). Dana came back with a little crescent wrench... Put the pedals back on.... and we were off.... Actually turned out to be a great ride!!! We all had fun and something to talk about when we got done... Ended up riding 44.5 miles... Which put me over 100 miles for the weekend... A lot for me.... not much fore some
