Right. No skimping. But if one product is basically the same as another... If it's latex that's doing the bonding then any latex should work. Sure, solvents would change drying times -- maybe critically so. I dunno. That's why I'm asking. I don't want bad glue, though. For a couple decades that 3M Fast Tack stuff was popular and worked and it wasn't lame but it wasn't specifically made for bike tires -- then they changed the formula, I've heard, or canceled the product. Anyway, cross-uses in the world of glues isn't uncommon. Nor always low quality.
