My longest ride yet: 13.3 miles. 1440' of ascent. 1:32 ride time. I had promised myself by the end of next month I would complete this exact loop. At each point that I could turn around, I said, eh, let's see if I can make the next landmark. I only stopped cause I ran outta trail! Looks like it's time to start on the fire trails. Of course, the National Weather Service just issued a bulletin letting us know four storms are coming, back to back with no break and we should expect 1-2' of snow, even where we live. So I'll be doing that fire trail stuff next week. Or next year.
