The bars keep the Benotto Cellotape and Velox plugs just like I rode the bike when it and I were pups. (OK I was 23, the bike was about 3). Might try to do a two-color criss-cross pattern like some of the guys did back in the day - haven't seen that treatment in quite a while.
The hoods...after I find a set of period correct DA levers, I'll add them and get the right hoods, removing the Superbe levers I have now. Oddly, I don't really mind riding hoodless.
