I just had a set of Novatec SL's laced to a pair of Velocity A23's, with Sapim lasers and alloy nipples, 24/28, 2 cross.
They weigh in at 1468g, and were less than 500 dollars.


Point being, you can often get a better value out of custom wheelsets.
