Well, sorry if I break form but it is way too much work for me to separate commuting miles from other miles. So I am just throwing the total up there. My Jan 1 2012 mileage is an estimate, so the total miles for the year is an estimate. I went back and looked at my log, and noticed from July 2011 to June 2012, I rode 2200 miles. That was almost all commuting. When I got my new bike in June, I did start doing weekend pleasure rides. Now I just make my commute rides pleasure rides by going farther when I can. Anyway, since June of this year I have ridden 2870 miles, and 4001 miles for 2012. Maybe next year I will subtract out weekend rides, but not sure it really matters. If my commute could be as little as 5.5 miles, but I choose to make it 9 miles for the fun of riding, are those all commute miles or what?? Curious minds want to know. Anyway, its late, my commuting is done for the year, so I will update the chart accordingly.
