I worked for The Schwinn Bicycle Company in Chicago, IL in the 60s-70s-80s as an International Purchasing and Importing Manager. I have bikes in my blood since then. I enjoy seeing any type of bicycle or bicycle part. I traveles to Europe to see our Suppliers: France-Huret, Maillard, Sedis in the FREXA office in Paris and on to Germany (Union spokes) in Frondenberg and Winemann (Caliper Brakes) in Switzerland. These were wonderful people and excellent Supplier and partners. Eventially I went to Japan to visit Shimano, Maeda, etal and to meet our Schwinn Approved bicycle companies durin g the bike boom. Glad to be part of this forum. I now live in Tustin, CA.
