BTW I'm done commenting on the financial matters or other argument-inducing stuff in this thread. Nerys could fall asleep in a public meeting and on awaking argue with whoever is speaking. He enjoys arguing as much as I did before I learned its best to save your powder for fights that matter.

Anyway, from talking with the man, I believe he is serious about losing weight - not that my opinion matters, of course. He's gotten distracted from weight loss due to circumstances with his family and his habit of doing a hundred things at once. The latter trait is his biggest problem, I think; he reminds me of the Chekhov character who says they have a thousand plans, which means, practically, not a one. If he focuses he can do this; from talking to him its clear from his words and the look in his eyes that he's sick of being super-obese. I believe in you, Nerys.
