Sure people can spend their money however they wish.
Nice things are nice to have if you can appreciate them and cherish them.
Spending a bunch of money on something you know little about is foolish squandering and morally reprehensible to me.
Like somebody else noted having just one bike sucks. For 10 Grand I'd buy several. And still have money for a donation to the food bank or the Union Mission.
