Most claws have a small hole behind the dropout slot and the dropout itself has a matching threaded hole and a small (M4?) bolt holds them together when the wheel is removed. The bolt won't maintain alignment but does keep the derailleur from falling off when the wheel is removed. Does your claw lack these holes?
