Correct!...you actually have to move YOUR BODY into a different position to change your CofG. A lot of folks talk about "weighting" a pedal as if it changes the CofG, but it doesn't change the CofG at all. If your body does not move as you "take weight" from one place and move it to another, nothing changes with the CofG.

I think it is important to stress this, because some people think that somehow using muscular force through the leg to the pedal
(when their body hasn't moved) actually makes a difference in the location of the CofG.
