I ride on the road about 90% of the time, with the last 10% split between MUPs and mountain bike trails and I have to say I totally agree with Rudy. I very rarely, i.e. almost never, have incidents with motorists. Occasionally, sure, it happens.

But . . . like Rudy says, "Save your anger! Pedal on!"
