Memorial ride for Steve Bowen, recently deceased owner of Palos Verdes Bicycle Center and friend to countless cyclists in the South Bay, will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, leaving the Riviera Village in Redondo Beach promptly at 8:00 AM in lieu of the normal Donut Ride. The memorial ride will take the usual Donut course at a conversational pace and terminate atop the Switchbacks.
