I believe it is a 1990 ST600.

I swore I would not buy anymore road bikes. But that doesn't include touring, sport tour, cyclocross and mountain bikes.

It appears to be in very good shape and be a good project.

I will probably dump the half step gearing and add bar ends. How wide can I go on tires?

I am one of those people who don't find Cannondales to be a harsh ride. My 87 Blueberry is a rocket and goes where it is pointed.
