You should look into converting a mtb into a drop bar bike because a lot of those older 80s and 90s frames had longer top tubes than seat tubes. My Mongoose is 21.5" x 23" (~54.5 CM x 58.5 CM). It wouldn't be able to match the light 'flickyness' of the canondale, just throwing it out there.
