That is the league we are in. Just moved up from an aluminium 21 speed to a Thorn Raven touring tandem at 23kg or about 50lbs. Rohloff hub and I am not missing slow changes
across the rear cassette on account of that long shift cable that gets sticky at times. It is also very handy to be able to shift the Rohloff when stationary if I forget to change down before stopping. This is a magnificent
touring machine.
