Shimano has some MTB shoes that look like regular athletic shoes for in the $50 range. They come with SPD clips included but not installed. The shoes themselves come with covers over where the cleats would attach that just look like the rest of the sole. I'm 5'11" and 230 with somewhat wide feet and they fit me reasonably well. If you wear a D width or less they should fit great.
