It's not your bike. You got it for your wife, right? :-)

Most of the fit-out on the bike is reasonable quality, low to mid-price stuff; Tektro brakes, STI-type thumb shifter, and so on. Nice Weinmann rims. Altus derailleur is an old-skule mountain bike classic. The bike will wear out before it does.

You want more stylo; whack on a pair of Kojak tyres, though if those are white Kenda Kwests, they are very good all rounders. You want more practicalo; add a rear rack and go touring. You want more fun, get another for yourself so you can cycle alongside your dear wife.

Otherwise, whack the tyre pressures up to the maximum shown on the sidewalls and just ride the thing. Alloy frame and 8 gears should = fun. Fit a water bottle cage. That's about it.

I went out for couple of rides since I bought it..

Furthest was 40KM which I ride yesterday.

What I have in mind are the following:

1. Bar End
2. Handlebar - to carbon fiber (will need to confirm if the diameter is 25.4mm)
3. SeatPost - to lighter alloy (perhaps KCNC)
4. Tyre - Slick tyre is my next target..ya maybe kojak..

I am also thinking to get the quick release, however my LBS commented that the HUB will also require to change
