The more fit you are, then better you will be on hills. Drop some weight. Increase your endurance. Add some strength training like squats to build muscle.

You also should find a way to monitor and track your workouts. Use a power meter to measure your output. Use a heartrate monitor to measure how hard you are working. This will help you to determine if you are indeed working out hard enough and compare workouts using some measurable.
