Yup I have the same exact goal for 2005. More miles on my bikes than on my VW. I commute so day to day it is easy but for instance last Sunday I drove 145 miles on way to do a 64 mile ride in Lancaster so the car caught up a bit there. There have also been 2 weeks when my wife drove my car to work but I am still ahead with the bikes. Current miles for the year is roughly 2600 for the bikes (not including 240 "miles" of trainer time in the winter) and roughly 2000 for the VW.

So far so good.
