Great post and a lot of wisdom there!

The sport of cycling has had a drug/stimulant problem almost from the very beginning. Riders have died out on the road due to them, but they never besmirched the good riders name. He went down in history as giving his all for the sport. But a long comes the upstart Americans and it's witch hunt time, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many lives are ruined and the careers taken away. Yes, Lance could have helped himself by being a better ambassador for the sport and being a little more humble, but even in his arrogance, they went above and beyond to get him, to bury him at any cost and take all the time they needed to do it.

So in the end, what good does taking Lance's titles away and basically ruining him do for the sport? They can't even find another clean rider to give the titles to! Bottom line, Lance went to Europe and played by their rules - and he kicked their ever loving tails in 7 times! And that's what has the French steamed. Do you think they would do this to a French or Italian 7 time TDF winner? Ha, not likely!

I think this will likely be the best interview of anyone all year...
