The Baseball Hall of Fame is very important to MLB players and baseball fans. I'm not offering an opinion on the stripping of Armstrong's titles, and while this year's ballot is not a direct comparison to such, it's not all that different than having something "taken away" either as without the cloud of doping these men would be inducted this year for certain.

I have mixed feelings on drug use in sports. I have a certain attraction and veneration for Tommy Simpson and Doc Ellis, but I would also say that I don't like cheating or cheaters. I realize there is a certain duality in that, but we don't live in a black and white world.
