I think, Burton, that it's particularly easy to lose sight of that axiom when sitting at the computer, shopping around the web...speaking for myself, anyway, not having the item in hand to poke, prod, and actually use, makes it more likely that I'll go to "the numbers," and try to coax some distinctinction out of measurements that don't turn out to be meaningful in real world use.
