I've heard of Greenpeace members blocking whaling ships in rubber boats, putting themselves in real, immediate danger, but I've never heard of them spiking trees. There are eco-terrorists who do this kind of thing, but the potential for randomly injuring or killing someone does make this a terrorist act. I've never associated acts of terrorism with Greenpeace, only acts of civil disobedience.
