Were you in downtown Ft Worth? Things are more bike friendly all over Fort Worth these days. Downtown has bike lanes, just west of downtown there is a redeveloped area (West 7th), with a bike lane on the main drag. The Near Southside is the center of the bike movement hear; I live about 8 miles south from there. The commute video above follows roughly this route... not really near downtown at all.
