Imagine someone who disliked bicyclists using a rail trail so much, that they carry out a deliberate criminal act to cause physical damage to both bikes and riders? Well it happened on the Legacy Trail. It was close to the Bay Street access to the trail. The section runs right beside houses with very little separation. And that is where carpet tacks were found spread out in May 2012. Photo is of the access area where this took place looking toward the Legacy Trail.
