I agree, Turnbull is like a small part of GMR lifted out of Glendora and parked above Uptown Whittier. I've probably climbed it 100 times . . . which is why I started looking for other ways up and found Oak Canyon, Edgeridge and Descending. Lots of good climbs in the Whittier Hills, Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights and Puente Hills area.

On a clear day you can see downtown Los Angeles from the Turnbull Summit.
