In other news: I ran my first marathon yesterday in Houston. Knocked it out at a 10:09 pace for 4:26:07, I'm pretty damned proud of that. NOW, I finally get to resume my bike training. I'd heard folks say previously that running kills your ability on the bike and Id always dismissed it, but I understand now. It's all about time. If I wanted to go hard one day on the bike, I couldn't because I had to go out the following day and run umpteen miles. I'm excited for the race season, even if my base is going to be a little weak this year.
well done
heard you guys had to brave some atrocious conditions as well
