coastal central california, at least when its not actually raining (typically 2-3 days of intermittent rain every week or so in the winter, then dry all spring/summer/fall). we're in a real cold spell right now, this AM the low was 36F and the high never got above 50F. actually, that's in a very protected spot in my back porch, my front more exposed thermometer measured 31F at midnight (but doesn't record).
