There is some really great advice on how to increase your cadence on the trainer. I have been using the trainer the last few years during the winter since it is raining and cold here in the Seattle area. To help me with my cadence I used cycling for cadence DVD from Carmichael Training Systems. I have a weak mind since I have a hard time being on the trainer more than 30 minutes unless it is a structured workout, meaning I can't watch just anything on TV while riding on the trainer. Once I was in good enough shape, I can now do the DVD (1 hr long) without wanting to quit because I was too tired. It is really a difficult workout and adjusts as you get stronger since it is based on heart rate and cadence.
