Still doing (lots of) base. Z2 and Z3. At least he's got me varying the cadence in the intervals... sitting there doing big gear for 45min at a time makes the ass hurt. Was supposed to do some big gear stomps last night which don't work so well on rollers. By 10 seconds I'm at 155rpm doing 50mph.
Does anyone cut their CD short when doing low intensity stuff like this? My plan says 15min, but I usually go for 5 or so. Just enough so my HR falls to ~110 or below.
