I know you're new on the road bike scene, but in a few years you'll look back on this comment and laugh. DA is as good as it gets. 8 speed DA is a few generations and 15+ years behind the current stuff (now 11 speed), but if it's not too worn and has new cables it'll be flawless. That bike in good shape gets all kinds of points for retro-cool appeal. Price is too high by about $100 though, IMO.
