Luckily I held onto my jigs and tubing bender (despite my ex-wife's protestations) from when I was racing motorcycles and made my own frames. The sand filled method certainly works a treat in lieu of specialized tools. badmother, you impress me more and more as I read about your DIY/mechanical prowess.
