I will widen the search, slow down a little and keep looking. I do have bikes to ride.
I will definately use this forum to gut check the intended purchase before I drop $$'s.
I know the Schwinn lineups of the late 70's and early 80's. I do not know much of the cycling world beyond that. As was correctly pointed out, I want to make sure I have the frame I want before committing. It is not just the cost of the frame, but the cost and time to build.
