The handlebars are MTB size, which is why I was interested in them. But that presents the problem of the road levers not necessarily fitting. I didn't know about the road levers not pulling enough for the V Brakes though, I'll have to look into that. I have STI shifters now, and I can mount them for the time being, but like you said, it defeats the purpose of the drops somewhat. I'm looking at doing the switch for commuting purposes mainly, but was hoping that somebody here had specific experience with these bars, since they're designed for CX purposes, despite the sizing issues.
