Among other things, Mannesman makes aerospace tubing and provide raw tubes to both Columbus & Deda. During the war, Reynolds famously made the injector tubing used in the Spitfire's Merlin engines; Mannesmann did the same for Messerschmitt/ BMW.

But wow! I had no idea Mannesmann ever sold bicycle tubesets under their own brand name...
