Pulling a utility trailer means your "homeless"!!

I need to pick up some larger items yesterday so I hooked up my utility trailer, I've noticed that even though I dress with "non kit type" actual bicycle clothes, helmet, light's frt. and rear, ect. I've been told I dress nicely for a "homeless" person or told to get my homeless ass off the road by a cager or two. I know that many of the homeless in my area that got a "free" bike from the local co-op also use a trailer but they usually don't wear bike clothes or helmets, etc. Just seems strange that I'm branded homeless the minute I add a "utility trailer" to my bike, anyone else get this in your area??
