So after a long and convoluted process of repacing the entire cockpit, the braking system, and indexing the gears my road going hybrid is complete and I'm happy with it. But, looking back it may just have been easier to buy the hybrid right next to it for another $100 and be done with it. Sometimes I get a little enthusiastic with my vision for a bike and don't quite realize just how much work goes into it....
