I went from a 52,42 to a 44,32 and my gear inches dropped to between 40 and 98.
I don't actually use the 52t so something like 44,32 does sound appealing. Buying an inexpensive mtn. crank dropping the third ring would be an inexpensive experiment and the option of reversing is there if needed. Would I need a new Bottom Bracket as well?
