Certainly, ride there and back if you want to. I'm planning a trip where I leave in a few weeks (2/17) and tour that area. I think I found an opportunity to go to key west but not turn around and go where I just went. I'm doing a loop from fort lauderdale, thru Everglades National Park to Marco Island, then take the ferry from Marco Island to Key West and ride back from there.
