Yes, it is a good ratio for the street, (only 3 skid patches though, if you care about that.)
ThimbleSmash is asking about a polo bike. Polo bikes tend to run much lower gearing. 35-38 T on the front and 21 - 22 T on the rear.
The chainring is not removable/changeable on this bike as it is part of the crankset. So a gearing change up front would mean getting a new crankset.
