There is not an event in my state yet, but some of you may be interested in riding in Ride ALS.

It appears by the Ride ALS web-site, there are events in California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oregon and Washington. You may want to double check the web-site to see if any more locations (more states) are having events.

For those who do not know, ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is the disease known as Lou Gehrig's disease in the United States. One of my friends (she worked at the high school I graduated from) died from ALS and two of my friends have ALS right now. My two friends that have ALS right now should die in two to five years.
