I'm still around 220ish, most off-the-shelf bikes are gonna be fine until you get to the low spoke count wheel, racer specials at the upper end or the price spectrum. most stock wheels on bikes priced under about $4k have PLENTY of spokes and will take care of your weight requirements easily, frame strength isn't an issue at all, whether the material is Steel, Ti, AL, Carbon, etc. just pick one that fits your body and budget and get out there riding.
for the record - my bike came with Mavic Aksium wheels, I've ridden it for 2 yrs and it has yet to need truing (pretty smooth roads in SE WI where i mostly ride).
