If only I could take the Ultegra SL finish and put it on the Athena components, I'd be done. I can't get into the SL brifters or crank, sadly. I think the new Shimano brifters are MUCH more tolerable - no more cables coming out of the hoods (yuck) and much prettier than the "antlers" of old.

The black Athena crank has nice charcoal chainrings that would look really nice IMO with the smoked chrome, and the white graphics on the black Athena stuff would tie in pretty well.

Hmmmm...... alloy or black, alloy or black.........
