…I've just noticed this thread, and am fascinated by the various responses! I've been a Brooks addict since the late 1960s (see my Brooks Page). I might have mentioned this before, and if I have then I'm sorry for repeating myself, but I think it's worth mentioning that my most recent Brooks acquisitions have never needed "breaking-in" which leads me to believe that it's my bum which has been broken-in over the past 50+ years. I love Brooks - my "Comfy Chairs" (oh no! not the Comfy-Chair!) on my bikes!
