$1400 for a frame that, if cared for, will last for the rest of your life? Cheap. I paid $500 for my first really nice frame in 1980. Not sure but I think in todays dollars, that's more than 1400. I still ride it even though it's not my main ride. On the other hand, you posted once before that you wanted to do some brazeons yourself. Chombi hit the nail on the head.
