This one might sound ridiculous to some.

Schwalbe inner tubes!!

On a whim I tried some Schwalbe tubes. Inner tubes often seem like an unimportant detail, but the Schwalbes were a real eye opener. They will hold good tire pressure for 2-4 weeks.... maybe even longer. I now have 2 bikes with Schwalbe tubes, and they are usually the only ones I ride. I really love to just grab the bike and go. As a bonus, the schrader valves are actually metal, nice!

Pros: Hold air for a very long time. Nice valves, overall nice quality.

Cons: Expensive and not easy to find locally.
