I recommend Sunrace/Sturmey-Archer's Freewheels as an alternative to other high-priced brand variants -or even NOS items from eBay.
I've purchased scores of these FWs, and have always been quite satisfied with them.

- They have the Shimano-style Hyper-Glide shifting ramps (even on their 5-speed FWs) and are available in 5,6,7,8 and 9-speed versions.

Starting at ten bucks a pop, they are a sensible and economical choice.
