There are few people out there who have been able to experience the incredible precision that has made many people state that the JUY 543 was a far superior derailleur to Campagnolo's earlier parallogram designs that eventually rendered it obsolete... even the legendary NR can take a back seat to the 543 as it's performance pales in comparison.
A GS is common like dirt. I think I spent $30 for mine. Shifts very nice too but I cannot compare it to the Juy.
So if the Juy obsoleted the GS, Record and NR derailleurs, where are they? If it was so great, why aren't they common like dirt? Riders were so stupid back then they didn't want a superior piece of equipment? And since Campy's literal domination from 1951 to 1976 with those three derailleurs, 25 years, how exactly were they obsoleted?
