Okay, as requested. Partial mock up with some wheels off of my buddy's '85 Raleigh with GP 4season 25's. The rims are dark grey anodized, but help to give a sense of color. I'd love to be able to strip the graphics from the seat post, but it's not too terrible. The fork close-up helps to give a sense of the alloy hub and ano rim vs. the dark chrome of the fork. Also note how dark the chrome gets (fork) on the other pics.
Bar tape will be white.
